Montessori-Style Climbing Structure

This project aims to design an extensible, sustainable, and open-ended climbing play structure to encourage active play for children from ages 12 to 60 months old.

This was a sponsored team project from the company Bunny Hopkins. It included five people in the team with a mix of industrial designers and mechanical engineers.

Parents are looking for a product that encourages open-ended play at home. Said product must be durable, easy to clean, collapsible, and freestanding. It should also be quick to assemble (less than 30 min).

Fantasy play - Crawling inside can promote tent structure for kids
Constructive play - Kids can attach other Bunny Hopkins products on to the structure
Social play - The structure can accommodate for multiple kids playing on it
